American Ninja Warrior - Crashing the Course- Philadelphia (Digital Exclusive)

Wall Drop was revealed during ANW 8's "Crashing the Course" series as the obstacle featured in Philadelphia

The Wall Drop is an obstacle that served as the 4th obstacle in Philadelphia on American Ninja Warrior 8.
  • The Wall Drop starts with a cannonball, placed right above the starting platform and then straight into four hanging nunchucks that swing; not all must be used.
  • Then they'll transition from the nunchucks to a wobbly wall, which they'll have to get their legs over.
  • They have to get their legs over the wall so they can drop down to a trampoline stretched over the water.
  • They'll need a big bounce to grab onto one of two hanging pendulums (similar to the pendulum found on Tick Tock), and swing up to the platform.

The trampoline requires eye coordination for competitors to make sure they land at a good spot on the trampoline in order for them to grab onto the pendulums. The Wall Drop was moderately tricky for some ninjas, mainly due to bad coordination on the drop.

It is similar to the Cat Grab from Season 6 and the Hourglass Drop.

It also has a few similarities to the Bouncing Spider which made its appearance on American Ninja Warrior 9, with the second part of the Bouncing Spider is similar to the second part of the Wall Drop.
