The Vertical Limit (バーティカルリミット) is an obstacle introduced in the Third Stage with the course redesign in SASUKE RISING.

The obstacle is a 1 cm ledge at the bottom of a flat wall must be crossed, using a pinch grip.

Competitors must use only their fingertips to reach the green resting bar of the Pipe Slider. Also, it should be noted that there are two resting bars that competitors can grab onto.

Out of the four people to attempt the obstacle, only one, Kishimoto Shinya failed it.

Vertical Limit Kai

In SASUKE 31, the obstacle was re-named to the Vertical Limit Kai (バーティカルリミット改), literally "Modified Vertical Limit".

The obstacle was split into two sections, where the smaller section was placed 30 cm forward to make the transition that more difficult.

Both competitors to attempt it, Morimoto Yūsuke and Kanno Hitoshi showed signs of struggle during the transition, although Kanno was the only of the two to fail the obstacle.

SASUKE 32 Version

In SASUKE 32, the tournament following Morimoto Yusuke's kanzenseiha, this obstacle was modified in three separate sections instead of two. However, the obstacle's name stayed the same.

The distance between the first to second section, second to third section is 30cm, 60cm long respectively. The transition from the third section to the resting bar is 15cm.

To make it incredibly difficult, it is tied together with the Ultra Crazy Cliffhanger with no rest.

The first person to make it there, Drew Drechsel, fell instantly upon attempting the transition from the Ultra Crazy Cliffhanger.

In SASUKE 33, it was also connected to the Pipe Slider, which made the second half of the Third Stage having no resting point. No one attempted it that tournament.

In SASUKE 34, only Morimoto Yūsuke attemped it, and he failed roughly halfway in due to running out of stamina when he started the obstacle.
