The Tilting Slider first appeared in the Houston Qualifying Round of American Ninja Warrior 7. It consists of a see-saw like suspended track with two handles and a suspended pole. Competitors grab the handles, which can only be moved forward, and work their way up the angled track until it pivots allowing them to slide down to the end of the track. Once there, they must transition to a pole six feet away and swing to the landing mat. Many competitors had trouble transitioning to the pole. At total of 52 people failed it, setting a new American Ninja Warrior record.
