Competitors must across three tilting frames with their upper-body to the landing platform. Competitors must build enough momentum to make the transition from one frame to the other, as the frames would tilt when they put their weight on the frames.
The three frames were arranged in a straight line, with the first two frames was positioned parallel to the competitors, while the last frame (the third frame) was positioned perpendicular to the competitors.
The Swinging Frames returned on American Ninja Warrior 7, once again as the eighth obstacle during San Pedro (Military) finals. However, the third frame was removed.
The Swinging Frames appeared on Ninja Warrior UK 2, as the fifth obstacle in Heat 4 (with a similar specification from American Ninja Warrior 7), and then on Ninja Warrior UK 3, as the fifth obstacle in Heat 2 (with a similar specification from American Ninja Warrior 6, except the perpendicular-positioned frame was placed as the first frame instead of the third). Later, the same version of the Swinging Frames from Ninja Warrior UK 3 appeared as the fifth obstacle in Heat 2 on Australian Ninja Warrior, and was called as the Tilting Frames.
On SASUKE Ninja Warrior Indonesia 2017, the Swinging Frames appeared as the fourth obstacle during Final Stage, with a similar specification from American Ninja Warrior 7 version of the Swinging Frames. Among the 2 competitors who attempted this obstacle (Yosua Laskaman Zalukhu and Angga Cahya), both of them could complete it, as well as all the competitors who attempted it during SASUKE Ninja Warrior Indonesia: International Competition.
