The Spin Cycle is an obstacle that appeared:
- In the Venice Qualifying Round of American Ninja Warrior 7, and
- In the Atlanta Qualifying Round of American Ninja Warrior 8.
It consists of three spinning metal cycles which competitors must traverse using their hands. Since the cycles are tilted, the competitor's body weight causes each cycle to rotate.
Some competitors who didn't transfer from a cycle on their first opportunity lost momentum and ended up stuck at the lowest point of the cycle which put them out of reach of the next cycle or landing mat.
Later on American Ninja Warrior 7, Roulette Row was introduced as the fifth obstacle of Stage Two which is a supersized version of this obstacle.
