The Rokudantobi (六段跳び), known as the Sextuple Step on English broadcasts, was the first obstacle from SASUKE 16 to SASUKE 22. It was identical to the Godantobi, with one step added. Additionally, the steps were raised off of the ground, allowing the competitors had more room away from the water. It was replaced by the the Rope Glider in SASUKE 18, but returned in the next tournament (due to injuries caused by the Rope Glider). It was removed for good in favor of the Jūnidantobi in SASUKE 23.
A modified version of this obstacle (called as the Quintuple Steps) would later be used on almost all of SASUKE/Ninja Warrior's international formats (e.g. American Ninja Warrior, Ninja Warrior UK, Australian Ninja Warrior, and SASUKE Ninja Warrior Indonesia), except the steps were much wider.
