In qualifying, his run was cut, Lavanty failed the I-Beam Gap, but placed 25th overall and advanced to the city finals. In the city finals, he got revenge on the I-Beam Gap, and made it to the Nail Clipper, but did not reach the obstacle at a fast enough time to make the top 15. He placed 19th at the end of the night.
