In his rookie year, P.J. first competed in Pittsburgh as a walk-on. He became the first competitor of the night to finish the course, placing 11th overall. In the city finals, he fell on the Floating Monkey Bars. However, Granger did place 12th and advanced to Las Vegas. In the national finals, he failed the Jumping Spider on Stage 1.
American Ninja Warrior 8[]
P.J. returned to compete in Indianapolis in American Ninja Warrior 8. In qualifying his run was digested but it was shown that he finished the course, placing 18th. In the city finals, he shockingly failed the Disc Runner, not making it back to Vegas.
