American Ninja Warrior[]

American Ninja Warrior 5[]

He first competed in American Ninja Warrior 5 in Denver where his run was digested, but it was shown that he failed the Grip Hang like many that night. Since 48 competitors completed the obstacle, he didn't advance to the city finals.

American Ninja Warrior 6[]

Karson returned for American Ninja Warrior 6 he competed in Denver and completed the course in 2:00.36. In the city finals, he made it all the way to the Doorknob Arch and placed 9th, which was good enough for Las Vegas. There his run was digested but it showed that he got a bad bounce off the mini trampoline and couldn't stick into the Jumping Spider and fell.

American Ninja Warrior 7[]

He then returned to American Ninja Warrior 7 and competed in Kansas City. His qualifying run was all cut, but he cleared the course in 2:18.28. In the city finals, his run was digested but it showed him falling on the new modified Body Prop. But he ended up placing 11th and for the second year in a row, made it to Las Vegas. There, his run was digested but it showed that he got revenge on the Jumping Spider and cleared Stage 1.

On Stage 2, his run was digested again but it showed him falling on Roulette Row when he got a bad bounce off of the mini Trampoline and couldn't grab the first cycle.

Karson competed on the first season of Team Ninja Warrior where he was captain of team Karsonic Boom. Voiles, along with teammates Brandon Barrett and Beth Higginbotham competed during the fourth episode along with the teams, the Think Tank, The Wild Bunch and finalist Team Ronin.

In American Ninja Warrior 8 he was not invited back to compete despite his success in the previous season.

American Ninja Warrior 9[]

In American Ninja Warrior 9 he returned in Denver qualifying, although his run was all cut it was shown he fell on the new and difficult Rail Runner which was good enough for him to advance to the city finals in 10th place. In the finals, his run was digested but it was shown he failed The Wedge. He placed 4th overall (the fastest to that point) and earned his third trip to the national finals.

In Vegas, his run was digested again but it was shown he cleared Stage 1 with 13.90 seconds left and moved on to Stage 2. In Stage 2, he was digested again but it was shown that he failed Wingnut Alley like so many other that night.

Karson Voiles at the Vegas Finals- Stage 1 - American Ninja Warrior 2018

In American Ninja Warrior 10 he returned to compete in Minneapolis. His qualifying run was once again all cut, but it was shown that he once again failed the fifth obstacle, this time being the Battering Ram, but his time was still good enough to place 19th overall.

In the city finals, his run was digested but it was shown that he failed Iron Maiden but placed 8th overall and moved on to Vegas.

On Stage 1, Voiles had a noble run running for his wife, who suffered from a tumor. He rose to the occasion, conquering ninja killer obstacles like the Double Dipper and finishing the Stage 1 course with 19.78 seconds to spare. He became the first veteran on Stage 1 to finish and the second to finish the course altogether.

His run on Stage 2 was digested but it was shown that he failed Wingnut Alley for the second year in a row. This became his third year making it to the fifth obstacle of stage 2. In addition, he had failed in the exact same spot he did the year before.

American Ninja Warrior 11[]

He competed in Tacoma this season. Although his run was digested, he completed the fifth obstacle, the Lightning Bolts, but was unable to scale the Mega Wall. He still advanced to the city finals by placing 15th overall.

During the city finals, he put up a phenomenal run, being one of very few competitors that night to clear the Lightning Bolts, and became the first of only three competitors to get past the Floating Monkey Bars. Unfortunately, like the other two competitors, Voiles' run was put to an end by the Northwest Passage. Despite this, Voiles' time was fast enough to place him 2nd overall, just behind Dan Yager, thus advancing him to the Power Tower. Voiles quickly triumphed over Yager and won the Safety Pass, giving him a second chance if he fell in Las Vegas.

On Stage 1, his run was digested, but it was shown that he had a close call on Tire Run, but he recovered and finished the course with a mere 5.59 seconds left, thus conserving his safety pass for Stage 2.

On Stage 2, Voiles was one of four competitors who had the Safety Pass for Stage 2, and he fell on the third obstacle, Snap Back, which meant he would have to use his Safety Pass. His second attempt was digested, but it was shown that he corrected his mistake on Snap Back, and eventually completed Stage 2 for the first time in his career.

On Stage 3, his run was digested, but it was shown that he gassed out on the sixth and penultimate obstacle, Cane Lane. This was his best performance to date.

He was not selected to compete on American Ninja Warrior 12.

Trivia[]

  • Voiles is one of three Safety Pass recipients that failed to complete the qualifying course, with the others being Michael Torres and Austin Gray. He is also the only recipient to have failed both the qualifying and semifinals courses as well.
