Jackson Meyer is a biology student who first competed in American Ninja Warrior 7. Meyer is known by many as the "Ninja Scout", due to his scouting experience. Meyer has also been notable for teaching the scout sign to sideline reporter Kristine Leahy.
In his debut season, he made it all the way to the Hourglass Drop, and was able to qualify for the city finals. However, he fell on the Hourglass Drop again in qualifying, and his time wasn't fast enough to qualify for Vegas. His time lead him to place 20th overall.
Meyer returned once again in American Ninja Warrior 8. He was able to pass the first four obstacles in Los Angeles, but ended up failing the I-Beam Cross, once again falling on the 5th obstacle in qualifying. He once again qualified for the city finals, but this time around, he passed the 5th obstacle. Like many in the Los Angeles finals, he fell on The Wedge. However, his time ended up placing him 13th overall and advanced to the National Finals. While at the national finals he fell on the first obstacle on Stage 1, which is known as the Snake Run.
In American Ninja Warrior 9, Jackson competed in LA and his run was all cut but he finished qualifiers for the first time in his ninja career. In the city finals he was first to complete the Swinging Peg Board and he failed the Stair Hopper but still qualified for the national finals in 10th place. However, for unknown reasons, he did not compete in Vegas.
