The Iron Squat (アイアンスクワット) was an event introduced in the ninth Celebrity Survival Battle in 9th Celebrity Sportsman No. 1.
The event itself involves competitors holding a circular ring attached to a platform over the competitors' heads. Competitors must hold the ring as two large tires weighing 20kg would drop towards the platform in 30 second intervals. This would mean that the longer competitors hold on to the ring, the heavier the weight they must maintain to avoid dropping the ring. The qualifying times of the competitors would then be ranked after the heats finished and the competitor with the longest time would become the No. 1 of the event.
During the final heat between Nakayama Kinnikun, James Okada, and Shōei, the fourth set of tires (80kg) dropped for James and Shoei, but got stuck for Kinnikun. Because of this, the event was considered as "No Contest" and was thrown out. Scores will remain the same from the previous event, Tail Impossible.
This is the only Sportsman event that led to a No Contest.
This event would only appear in one Celebrity Survival Battle.
