The following is a list of SASUKE obstacles and their descriptions. The obstacle descriptions offer a cursory description of the function of each obstacle, and it is meant to be paired with a picture of the obstacle and names used on the G4/Challenge broadcasts (italics are the names used in the latter). In addition, aesthetic and/or name changes are not documented on this page; only significant changes to the obstacle's function are included. This is especially prevalent in obstacles in the Third Stage: obstacles such as Vertical Limit and Sidewinder R have received so many modifications, each version will be listed as a different obstacle.
If an obstacle had multiple names in either Japanese or English broadcasts, only the name that was most commonly used will be included. For a comprehensive description of the obstacle and its aesthetic/name changes, please visit that obstacle's Sasukepedia page.
