Fujinami Kōji (藤波 浩司) is a zoo keeper at the Kofu Municipal Zoo who has competed four times on SASUKE. Because of his profession, he brings animals to the start line with him. He made his first appearance in SASUKE 18, where he was able to clear most of the obstacles but ran out of time on the Rope Ladder. It took him two tries to beat the Great Wall which added to the reason why he timed out.
His next appearance was in SASUKE 19, where he shockingly failed the Rokudantobi in an all-cut performance. Next was SASUKE 20, where he was the first one shown to clear the Half-Pipe Attack that day. However, he was unable to scale the redesigned Soritatsu Kabe and timed out there.
He returned for SASUKE 28, where he was digested but was shown to have failed the Spin Bridge.
