American Ninja Warrior 6's Downhill Pipe Drop in Miami
The Downhill Pipe Drop was the second obstacle, first introduced on American Ninja Warrior 6 in Miami. Competitors must slide the red pipe, then time their release to grab the rope, and then transition to the landing platform. In Miami finals, this obstacle took out Drew Drechsel, making it his first early exit from the competition.
Besides being used on American Ninja Warrior 6, this obstacle was also used in the finals' Stage One of Ninja Warrior UK. However, this obstacle was called the Pipe Slider (not to be confused with the Pipe Slider from SASUKE), and took out Katie McDonnell (who was the only woman to reach the finals). This obstacle was also used in the finals' Stage One of Ninja Warrior UK 2, and took out Corbin Mackin (who was the only competitor to fail there).
