The Double Tilt Ladder is an obstacle, firstly introduced as the fifth obstacle on American Ninja Warrior 6 in St. Louis.
It consisted of two sets of suspended tilting monkey bars. On this obstacle:
- Competitors must use their hands to move up the first set of monkey bars until their weight causes it to tilt, allowing them to continue down to the end.
- Once at the end of the first set of monkey bars, they must swing to the second set and navigate it just as they did the first.
- At the end of the second set of monkey bars, they must swing to the landing mat.
The Double Tilt Ladder returned on American Ninja Warrior 7 in Orlando, once again as the fifth obstacle. However, the obstacle has been modified with the first ladder had 8 rungs, while the second ladder had 6 rungs (in St. Louis, the first and second ladder both have 8 rungs). This made the gap between the first and second ladder was made larger than the previous season. Because of that, competitors must make a jump from the first ladder to the second ladder (similar to the Jumping Bars).
The Double Tilt Ladder appeared as the fifth obstacle in Heat 2 on Ninja Warrior UK 2 and in Heat 4 on Ninja Warrior UK 3, and then in Heat 1 on Australian Ninja Warrior and in Heat 6 on Australian Ninja Warrior 2.
