The Bio Clock (バイオクロック) is an obstacle which lasted for the first two Regular VIKING tournaments in the Third Fantasy Stage as the final obstacle (as well as being the only mandatory obstacle to complete). Competitors were to stand on a trapdoor, while a button stood in front of them. They were to press the button to activate a digital clock that would begin to count upwards, however, 6 seconds after the clock started, the clock would be hidden, leaving the competitor to time the clock themselves. The competitor then had to press the button again to stop the clock whenever he thought the clock was at ten seconds or as close to ten as possible. There was a small margin of error given; the competitor was allowed to be 0.5 seconds under or over 10 seconds. If the time was not exactly ten or within the margin of error, the competitor would be dropped into the water via the trapdoor. Nagano Makoto was the only to attempt the obstacle, clearing after stopping the clock at 9.78 seconds, well within the margin of error and being allowed entry to Final Viking.
