The American Ninja Warrior All-Stars: 2017 is the second of the All-Stars special of American Ninja Warrior.

Synopsis

The All Star Special took place at Mt Midoriyama in Las Vegas - Nevada, between the events of Season 8 and Season 9. Just like last year, there will be a Team Competition in the first half and the Skills Competition at the back half of the special.

Team Competition

The team competition this year consisted of three- three person teams picked by the hosts (Matt Iseman and Akbar Gbaja-Biamila). And the Sideline Reporter (Kristine Leahy). of American Ninja Warrior. Each team consists of two veterans and one female competitor.

Unlike last year, this team competition was a relay in which each of the three team members would be tackling a few obstacles. The team that completes the First Stage with the fastest time would advance directly to the Third Stage while the other two teams battle it out on the Second Stage for a chance to take on the team that won the First Stage.
